ABOUT ME

A friend of mine told me about Couchsurfing before I was on my way to Germany for about a month I thought the idea of it was great! So I tried it as well.. :)
I'm finishing my studies of social work here in Ljubljana and currently also studying about tourism, working in hospitality business.. :) I think of my self as a talkative, curious girl, I like to work with people and listening to people's stories. I am very much interested in film. Since atm I am not able to travel myself as much as I would like to (but I will one day) I would like to meet travellers from all around in my home town.

PHILOSOPHY

I think all the people we meet in life can give us a positive experience if we only give them a chance... there is something good and positive in every one of us :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to meet and host CSers in Ljubljana and contribute to their positive experience of the city :)
I also surfed but only couple of times and I hope in the future I will have the chance to do it more often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I have only positive experience with surfing and hosting and I hope this stays the same also in the fututre :)

I am very much interested in film, I rather have a look at non-Hollywood productions, there are many of great films being filmed in Europe. Last such 'treats' I had a chance to watch and were etched on my memory were

I like music of different styles - from jazz to rock and others; I like emotional and creative interprets of any style, last big concert Sting, which is one of my favourite musicians :) .. last listened to Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, The Clash and discovering some reggae lately too :)
I like to read quite a lot, last read Wright: Moral animal and many of literature about topics regarding my studies, last was the book about rainbow families in Slovenia.

I was charmed by the nature of Northern Ireland whilst my stay there.. 40 shades of green indeed, beautiful shores, valleys.. :)
I visited Ostrog Manastir in Montenegro which was very mystical place, especially when visited on a rainy foggy day.
Best views ever walking the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of Gods) above Costiera Amalfitana in Italy.

I can teach you some basic Slovene words if you like or some basic Slovene sign language.
I would really like to learn italian and russian language or some basic words in as many languages I can :) since I like cooking also preparing some dishes together with surfers would be cool and we can share some advice on that:)
When staying at our place I can share my bike with you if you like that kind of 'transportation' :) ..it's 30-40 min to get to the city center with it :)
