我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I couch surf because I truly believe housing should be shared when it can be and I hope to attribute to that any chance I can. I have worked in multiple non profits helping individuals experiencing homelessness and I think there is so much growth that we as humans can have by just breaking down the stigma having no home can mean, and showing other the love and compassion you can have for a complete stranger by letting them crash on your couch.

I love this community and I think if we can get over the fact that people are just people and learn to live harmoniously with people from around the world we can learn that a house is just a house and we can all be there for each other and learn more from one another, and maybe even let someone stay with us if they are in hard times and not just because they are traveling for fun.

兴趣

I am honestly trying to spend more time figuring out what my interest are because somewhere along the line I feel like things stopped being fun for me, so this is a deep one for me..BUT the one thing that seems to put an odd smile on my face these days is listening to some music or a podcast and doing a Soduku puzzle! So small and insignificant, but its really doing it for me these days so I'm just going with it (:

I just finished the book Stay Sexy and Don't get Murdered based off the podcast, and it was SO GOOD.
Not sure what ill be reading next yet but I am taking suggestions (:
