ABOUT ME

I have lived in a funeral home my entire life, been in a commercial, been licked by a giraffe, caught bats for two nights, got a fairly large tattoo on my back, have spent not only a semester abroad in college but also in high school, and have once owned a prairie dog as a pet....That's not even breaking the surface. As for my personality; I believe in fairness and do not believe in judging others before one truly gets to know them. I am extremely friendly.

PHILOSOPHY

I know it's cliche, but I lived in a funeral home my entire life and I can't stress the importance of living life to the fullest. We only live for this short amount of time, so we better make the most out of it.

Working out (yoga,skiing, pilates, kenpo, polymetrics, hiking, jogging, you name it!), cooking, baking, knitting, trying different cuisine and drinking coffee with friends, going to clubs and just dancing, photography, and I'm also interested in other cultures and languages.

Anything but thriller. I am the biggest chicken in the world when it comes to horror movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are way too many to just say one! Starting off with the most recent, I decided to catch bats in Iowa for two nights with a mammology class which I crashed. We set up the nets before the sun set and as soon as it got dark, the bats would start to fly into them. The professor would tell us facts about each species that we caught and allowed us to let them go. I felt like I was on a National Geographic channel and I am glad I skipped out on going to Chicago to just look at buildings and to eat food.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely teach others the way I cook and if there was any interest in working out with me, I would be more than happy to have ANYONE do it with me. I also wouldn't mind helping with their English. I'm quite patient. I do want to learn a bit of the language of wherever I go. I find it polite that I should know a few words and use them. I also want to know where the non-touristy places are and where you personally like to go or eat. I'm up for anything!
