About Me

CURRENT MISSION
To co-create communities of abundance where we are all doing what we love!

ABOUT ME
I declare myself as a non-conformist and an agent for social change. Besides, Krishnamurti said it best: “It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society.”

I’m generally on a mission to propel permaculture in Greece and am constantly learning and using tools for personal and social evolution, such as Non-Violent Communication (Marshall Rosenberg), the Transition Movement, the Art of Hosting, Social Permaculture and the most primitive tools of social bonding: dancing and singing! Recently, I've turned my education focus towards children and the youth and am developing interactive permaculture plays for children!

With my partner Ilias, furniture maker and craftsman, we are running an upcycling project in Korinthia, Greece, which we are building step by step by reusing everything, redefining the use of objects and using our creative imaginations. We are experimenting with various permaculture applications (eg. a natural grey-water filtering system), we cultivate with the moon as our guide, we process our food (dehydration, pickles, vinegars, etc), we compost obsessively (including our pee and poo) and much more.

PHILOSOPHY
The challenge is the solution!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't officially hosted people through couchsurfing, however, through my networks, I've hosted countless people over the years and I would like to be hosted too!!

We'd like to open our doors to people (especially children) who have a burning desire to:
* contribute, co-create, open their imaginations
* experience the diversity of our activities (gardening, constructions, cooking, composting, wild-food foraging, yoga, dancing, connecting with the local community, etc, etc)
* see for themselves how an artistic viewpoint can transform ‘rubbish’ into objects we need
* find solutions to whatever challenges arise, by starting where we are, using what we have and doing what we can.
