About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Broaden my horizon, meet new people, change perspective and simply enjoy life.
ABOUT ME
Please read profiles before you request a couch!!! I love to laugh. I can be very direct without meaning to be rude, I guess that's a German thing. I can be incredibly sarcastic and ironic, though always in a cheery or positive manner and never bitter. My best jokes are those that others understand before I do, so be prepared. :D
PHILOSOPHY
Even if you lose your luggage, you will bring home memories from your vacation. So drop the baggage and travel lightly. Because all you get to take with you as you conclude the journey of life, are the impressions engraved on your soul. At least we can hope for that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
For the most part I have hosted and for the greatest part I loved it. I always wanted my guests to feel at home and comfortable, which is why I granted them maximum freedom, almost as if they were at home. I hope I can host again soon! In the meantime I travel.
I currently can't host since I'm sharing an apartment.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have been hosting and surfing for over five years and I'm amazed. Every other couch surfer just blows me away with their friendliness and openness. So far, the people that hosted me in Germany, Italy, Greece, Canada, Portugal, and the US have impressed me the most.
Apart from people who never arrived or potential hosts that never replied to my requests, I made positive experiences only! Let's keep it this way.
Interests
I do many things on the computer and online including webdesign (basic), blogging, chatting, playing, surfing, and educating myself. I write for MakeUseOf.com. I really am addicted to tech stuff, but I also enjoy photography, nature, hiking, architecture, singing, live concerts and a good, loud laugh.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music, especially alternative rock and brit pop, all kinds of movies, and creative books. Now that I have time and don't have to read a ton of work-related stuff, I actually enjoy reading just for the fun of it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Zero gravity.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm not a great cook, but I can teach you how to make sweet popcorn, bake a quick&easy bread, and if you want to taste something truly delicious, let me make Quarkspitzen for you.
I'm neither a geek nor a nerd, but I write about technology and can certainly tell you about cool free web applications or Windows software. I may also be able to fix a Windows issue for you.
I'm very practical and love to find out the best and fastest ways to do anything. So I love to learn any tricks you may know.
