About Me

Me (Tine), I am german and grew up just outside of Berlin in the countryside. I studied Geography because I wanted to understand the interrelated processes of our beautiful world a bit better.

Besides climate related topics, I mostly engaged in alternative food production and supply options. I looked closely at urban community gardens and their potential to support food security as well as social connections and environmental awareness. After my studies I work as a project manager for Climate-Protection-Projects. Besides that I am very passionate about Nutrition Science and food.

Stefano was born and raised in Dawson Creek (British Columbia). After school he studied "Network and Telecommunication Engineering" in Kelowna and worked for Telus for a couple of year before his life brought him to Germany to study again. In Germany he studied "Information Systems Engineering" and worked as a Data Analyst in Berlin.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Electroswing and reading philosophical books which are thought-provoking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I couchsurfed once with a family in Saskatchewan and they introduced me to a Hutterites community (communal people, living on hundreds of scattered Bruderhöfe or colonies throughout the prairies of northwestern North America.) which one of the sons worked with. They live similar to the Amish but share high technology agricultural equipment. It was fascinated to get insight of that community. Fascinating and frightening at the same time. I am so thankful for that experience.
