ABOUT ME

Poet, performer and trainee psychiatrist, born and raised in Glasgow. I'm non-binary, gender-neutral pronouns preferred (they/them). I prefer to go by my surname ie ‘Crow’ or my initials ‘AR’ but the site won’t let me change my name :-(

Things I like a lot include bookshops, queer art, performance poetry, good food (mostly veggie), nice beer and a good dance in the mud at a music festival!

Have hosted a lot in the past few years but unable to keep up with this as much now due to work and other commitments. Occasional surfing...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted about 50 times, been hosted 6+ times (as I haven't went on a big trip since I joined CS), was very much involved in the Glasgow CS community from 2010 onwards but had to step back from that due to other commitments.

I’m really into queer 80s music like Bronski Beat, Frankie Goes to Hollywood but enjoy most kinds of music, especially live!

I read a quite a mix of novels, non-fiction and poetry. Nevada by Imogen Binnie is one of my favourite books.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Skydiving in Taupo in NZ in 2008, also the overnight cruise I did on Milford Sound as part of the same trip. The scenery in NZ and whole experience was incredible, I would love to go back some time.
