About Me
Find it difficult to write things about myself.
Hmmm two things I could see myself doing: political philosophy and film directing. Would like to do both but maybe one at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like being on the way but I hate staying in hotel rooms alone. I've made great friends, some lasting ones as well, had meaningful conversations this way.

Music, Movies, and Books
I spend most of my leisure time with films and books.
For quite long my ambition was to make films, maybe still. I love films and enjoy a lot of them. Two names came out first are Wong Kar-wai and Theo Angelopoulos (Eternity and A Day is my favorite of his. The sorrow at the end of life depicted in the film is almost unbearable). Others like Bela Tarr, Ingmar Bergman, Kubrick and many others.
I feel sorry that I buy far more books than I actually read or I ever will. I grew up reading fictions of all sorts. Now I read none-fiction as well but I think novels are still my favorites, for its capacity of absorbing you into a different time, different life and the poetics of so doing.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had some great experiences. With certain degree of ignorance and recklessness I went to Paris alone without any plan nor places to stay. Stopped random cars and stayed with people. And crawled catacomb for eight hours with a group of Parisians I met on the street and found a night club down there, with music on and people crawled there from different directions. Was amazed.
