ABOUT ME

I am a laid back person who enjoys meeting new people. My husband and I have fostered over 60 kids in 2.5 years as we took large sibbling groups. Its a passion we have. My husband is an Q & A Engineer but has many amazing talents from music to art, soccer to climbing towers.

While we prepare our new home for fostering again we have decided to host some couchsurfers.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not done so in many years but look forward to hosting the next generation in a safe home. We may use couch surfing from time to time but mostly we have settled down

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only done it once in which case it was a little odd as the family I was to stay with was out of town leaving just the dad who happen to be a pastor. I was offered to stay in a nice hotel but I didn't want anyone spending money on me ( I am not thier responsibility ) and so I was placed in a friends bed and breakfest. It was great. They had family over and I joined in where I could. It was a wonderful experience and anxious to do it again.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

lol I live my life in hopes of smileing when death comes for me in old age. I have sat and watched alligator in thier natural habitat within 3 feet of thier jaws, swam with sharks, dolphins and manatees. I have feed the hungry and been effective in changing the lives of teens. I have stood up and stood my ground for what was right even though it was not popular. I still have so much more to accomplish and see.

I would love to stay in deaf home. I feel that would be an awesome experience, that or an Amish home ( I know that would never happen )
