Overview
About Me
I am a full time doctoral student writing my dissertation on the Red Books of C.G. Jung and J.R.R. Tolkien, as well as a practicing archetypal astrologer and editor of the academic journal Archai: The Journal of Archetypal Cosmology. I live in Berkeley, California with my fiancé Matt and am deeply passionate about my community, the Earth, and the human relationship to the cosmos.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I first experienced the joy of CouchSurfing on a hitchhiking trip in 2008 through New Zealand's South Island, and then again in the summer of 2010 traveling the United Kingdom and Europe staying with friends, family, and couchsurfing hosts. I have been living in the San Francisco Bay Area for the last five years as I've been making my way through graduated school and am now starting to travel again for conferences and research experiences. I would love to meet new people along the way!
Interests
I am interested in art and consciousness, dialogue and connection, creativity and community. I am an avid reader and writer, I paint with watercolors and play the harp. Each year I make the pilgrimage to the Black Rock Desert for the Burning Man festival with my close community of friends.
