ABOUT ME

Hello, my name is Christine. I live in Albany, NY. I am a student at the College of Saint Rose. I intern at an environmental health non-profit and work at an environmental advocacy non-profit. I like to travel when I have time off from school and work. I have not had the opportunity to explore most of this wonderful country, but I am making plans to go on a few trips over the next year. Sometimes my idea of fun is waking up early and enjoying the outdoors, other times it involves having a few drinks with friends and staying out till the sun comes up... either way, I'm game for anything.

PHILOSOPHY

My 9th grade math teacher used to tell me "It's nice to be nice!" He was right.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last spring my roommate Caroline and I hosted two girls from the UK. They had the opportunity to participate in the College of Saint Rose's annual music festival. We hung out for 3 days, went to some parties, and enjoyed the warm spring weather. They taught us the rules of rugby, the specifics of the British collegiate system, and the importance of wearing sunscreen.

I haven't couchsurfed myself, but 2 friends and I are looking for a host this December/January in Madrid, Spain.
