ABOUT ME

Like all other couchsurfers, I love to see new places, but more importantly meet people from those places. I'd love to listen to your stories, I believe they will broaden my perspective of the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My first couchsurfing experience in Ottawa has been amazing. The host (Eugene) was great, he went out of his way to make his guests comfortable. But more importantly, it showed me how the international community can be united with the simple gesture of hosting someone or being a good guest.

To be honest, I started surfing because I'm on a student budget. I've grown to see that couchsurfing is not more than just a place to stay, but also where I can meet the locals and understand more about the place and culture. And all these I won't be able to find staying in a hostel.

Although I'm unable to host people in my home, I would love to bring you around Singapore if I am available. Singapore is all about food, I love the food in my country, and I can show you where to find good food without spending too much :)

I'm an outdoor guy, I love hiking, cycling, skating, kayaking...

I love to read read read

I'm also a "scenery" person when I travel, I love to find scenic spots, take good photos and just enjoy the view.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Served in the military for 2 years (not so interesting to other Singaporeans, because all male have to serve 2 years in Singapore), and did things like not eat for 3 days as part of survival training
