Any non-racist, non-xenophobic, non-Islamphobic, rationed and well reasoned non-fiction book on the Middle East (which eliminates 95% of the trash out there), Orhan Pamuk, Naguib Mahfouz, Albert Camus, anything Russian and depressing, German films

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Camping on the Great Wall of China, Sunset horseback rides along the Pyramids, Borsch at the Kremlin, Camping in Santa Barbara, Drinking coffee overlooking the Dome of the Rock... the list goes on.
