Overview
About Me
My name is Tiphaine (for a better understanding, you can call me Tiff). I'm 25 years and from France. I live in the South of France, in Provence, in between the Alps and the Mediterranean sea. I'm a student, I did my first year of master in social and solidarity economy and I'm looking to do my second year in sustainable development because I would like to work for the protection of the planet in developing countries (maybe in Asia or in South America, depends where the wind takes me).
I love traveling. I had the chance to live in Australia for 18 months, couple of years ago, that was one of the best experience I've ever had. I did my Erasmus experience in Finland and it was great too. Since that, I know that I want to travel the world and keep meeting new cultures and new people.
I'm easy going and can adapt myself to any environment.
I have never lived at the same place for more than 5 years I would say, so I'm used to move a lot.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing because I think it is a good way to meet new people while traveling. I've already been hosted by people in different countries and it's always a great experience.
I love cultural differences, i find it passionate to learn how people live and do things in their countries because we all have different habits that are very interesting.
I use it when I travel, and I can host people when I'm at my parents house.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am pretty much easy when it's about listening to music because I like different style as pop, rock, rap, reggae... I'm not really into deep, hard metal tho. I like also french music that people abroad might not know, so it would be something I could make you discover.
I like series and I watch netflix a lot ahaha. My favorite one ? well i dont have one favorite ; Scandal, Narcos, Orange is the new black, Desperate Housewives are some of my favs.
When I was in high school, I had these super english and philosophy teachers and they made me love cinema. I went 2 times to "le festival de Cannes" but couldnt walk on the red carpet lol. Well it still feels like magic and I usually like movies that are shown there. I'm not a fan of american blockbusters. And also I don't like fantastic. But well, to each his own.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling to Australia by myself when I was 19.
Volunteering in Thailand for 6 weeks in a rural area. I was an English teacher in a school and totally fell in love with the culture and the country.
I also have more crzay stories like how i abandoned my van in the middle of the desert, how i got stuck out of the hotel in the snow in the Netherlands.
I do things sponteanously and sometimes don't think about consequences, but I always manage to figure out solutions, thats my adventure spirit, I hate routine. I need adrenaline to feel a bit of live in life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to learn surf, pole dance.
I would like to teach french to refugees who come to France.
I would like to share cultural habits.
