About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a French girl living in Lisbon, big hedonist, I enjoy the pleasures of life. I did various studies : computer science, history of art, journalism, graphic design and currently in a master degree, in the management of the Arts and Culture. I'm quite sociable and friendly, even a bit funny (at least I hope so) and you can hear me from few kilometers away when I laugh (it scares people the first time).

GUYS : I will maybe accept you if you have positive reviews on your profile (personal safety purposes)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've used couchsurfing a few times to travel (Turino, Amsterdam, Leipzig) and I've hosted once when I was still living in France. I like to host people because you get to show the good places to your guests, without always being on their back, so they can also enjoy and discover by themselves.
I'm always looking for fun, I'm resourceful, I like to scare myself with the unknown ! I'm a good party mate, up till the end of the night !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went by autostop to Turin with my ex in summer 2014, just for one night, but it was super cool
I went in Amsterdam too, with a friend and slept on a boat, the guy was renovating it and was expecting people to work for him in exchange for a bed (no mentions of his profile or per message). That's not the spirit of couchsurfing, so we left the place quite fast... However, quite an experience that we will always remember lol.
I did also Leipzig for a weekend with a friend and I hosted a veryyyy nice guy when I was still living in Grenoble. It was really a great time, we shared dinners and food techniques, I showed him party places, he went along well with my friends even though they weren't very good at English. There's always a way to communicate if you got the will :)

Interests

Music ! Very eclectic although I'd say on a daily basis I'm more electronic music oriented.
Art of course, all its fields.
Cinema, because some movies are fucking pieces of cake
Cooooooking, oh my god yes I love cooking and eating, I also love drinking good wine and beer (any good alcohol in general)
Politics (I'm a lefty yes)
Languages ! I've lived in Berlin for one year and learned German there. You can say I'm a language nerd, I just find them fascinating and I hope I'll get to live in other countries and learn more languages.
Did I mention cooking ?

Music, Movies, and Books

The movie that got me into cinema : American Beauty
Favorite movie director : Wong Kar Wai
(too many movies that I adore but I'm trying to get deeper into the "classics" for my culture lol, I just hate horror movies bc I get easily scared and can jump to the roof)

A book that changed my life : Michel TOURNIER - Vendredi ou la vie sauvage
