ABOUT ME

I'm a really outgoing person and easy to get along with. I'm very polite and tend to have a reputation for being a bit too nice. I'm not sure what else they would say, maybe that I can be very laid back in my down time, but I work really hard and always stay busy.

Interests

I'm a graduate student at Purdue University studying Motor Control and Biomechanics in older adults. I like to recycle, and I love being green. I'm also a personal trainer, so I try to exercise and love to hike and play outdoors. I love animals. I also love to draw and paint. I'd like to claim I can play guitar, but I'm working on that one. I love TED.com, I'm the president of TEDx at Purdue University.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw the Dalai Lama in Darmsala, India three times, that should be all three, but there are more.

I swam in the Phosphorescent Bay in Puerto Rico, it was amazing to see the water glow when you touched it- and when you put your head under water you could hear the dolphins' echolocations.

I kayaked through an unimaginably massive swarm of jellyfish in the oceans off the coast of Southern Thailand during a day trip to the beach.
