Overview
About Me
I'm not a fan of writing self-descriptions since it all seems a bit narcissistic but I'll try. I'm an introvert by nature so I'm lost in my thoughts most of the time and like quiet places. My friends would describe me as someone deeply analytical but also a dreamer too.
I seek self-awareness in life. More than just hanging out with someone I'd also like to form friendships and chat too, get better acquainted and share experiences. To quote one poet's words, "life is a chance to experience how exciting alienation can be."
So if you're visiting Nairobi and would like a friendly, laid-back person to show you around feel free to talk to me. If you're interested in art, nature, urban culture, cuisine and history I know dozens of interesting places to see, not just the typical cliched, tourist places you find on postcards but more of the hidden gems too.
I don't discriminate anyone based on any criteria (and I hope to meet people of a similar mindset). So long as you're kind, respectful and friendly I'm more than willing to extend a hand of friendship. I'm not a tour operator so I'm not here to sell anything.
Kenya is not a very developed country so things aren't always as efficient as they should be. If you don't lose your nerve over a bit of chaos and inefficiency you'll love it here. Remember to take deep breaths and stay calm ;-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm here to expand my horizons if that doesn't sound too cliched. I'm dying of boredom so I'd like to interact with different people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like literary fiction, comedies and pop music from 90's . If you'd like to know more ask me. I don't wish to become quickly boring by revealing everything at once.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once travelled by bus from Kenya to Rwanda via Uganda and slept in a convent on the way. It felt so weird.
