ABOUT ME

I graduated from LSU in 2012 with a degree in vocal performance. I sing opera as well as
play guitar and am very into songwriting. I'm now in process for my Master of Divinity at a local school in Fort Worth.

Now that we've somewhat emerged from the storm of Covid-19 (please be vaccinated), I'm ready to begin this next chapter of Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to the U.K. and Ireland back in 2012 and couch surfed with some of the most phenomenal people. They took me places I wouldn't have otherwise known about as a general tourist. My second couchsurfing tour was in the states in New Mexico, Arizona, California, Oregon, and Seattle. I love the cultural and hospitality exchange that takes place while couch surfing. My third was in India.

I have hosted people all over the world.

Interests

Music- First and foremost. I love music, I think it transcends most of our limits as human beings and it's at the very core of our nature. Whether it be singing in an opera or songwriting it's a central part of my life.

Film- I love indie and artsy films. I'm a bit of a sucker for some romantic stuff with good taste.

Reading- Also a big reader. Currently reading Caste by Isabel Wilkerson and The Grapes of Wrath

Traveling- I'm addicted

Meditation and Spirituality- I'm spiritually open-minded. My own principles generally align with Buddhism and Unitarian Universalism, with some progressive Christianity sprinkled in.

8. Hitch hiked and couch surfed across Ireland and England with the final stop being the summer Olympics in London
