Settling in South Africa

ABOUT ME

I think I am a social, spontaneous type of person with lots of interests. I am always open for new experiences and people, trying to live Life with a capital L!
I am an optimistic person, and find it hard to deal with people with a negative attitude, but I think I learned a lot of skills during my internship at psychiatry:)Besides, I can be kind of impatient sometimes(try to work at it).
My mission is to become a good doctor and afterwards start a small cosy bakery and bake lots of cakes and pies!!!).
For now trying to settle down in South Africa, where I arrived after an amazing roadtrip all the way from Belgium through West Africa.

Very good untill now. Made good friends in Antwerp and hope to make more friends here in Africa.

兴趣

Travelling.. meeting new people and learning from different people/cultures,
Reading, especially adventurous/history books( Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Umberto Eco, Gilbert Sinoue etc),
Cooking and baking..Nothing better then the smell of fresh bread in the morning...mmmm!
Coffee!I can survive a day without food, but not without my coffee;)!
Basketball, especially outside in the sun.
Singing; I love to sing and next to that; I love to dance; right now I am following flamenco classes after I got inspired last year in Sevilla:)
And last, but not least...Having a good time with my family and friends..having big dinners and chatting all evening long. One of the most important things in life that can make you feel so rich is a warm family and good friends!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One thing I won't forget is when I climbed a wadi in Israel with a friend. The last part I did by myself, because she was exhausted and stopped halfway. When I reached the top, there was a cave with a waterfall. I sat there on my own with a great view over the dessert and the sea. What a feeling! On my way back, I got surrounded by all kinds of animals(goats,marmots etc). It was really amazing, although I might not sound like something amazing ( gotta be there;))
