I'm a doctoral student in Cultural Studies at the North American Studies Program in Berlin. Trying to not take this university business too serious though. I'm interested in cinema and (left) politics, love to travel and meet new people, although I haven't done that for a long time now. I'm open for lots of different experiences and eager to meet a wide variety of people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't used Couchsurfing in a long time now and try to get back on track these days. I used to surf couches when traveling through Europe, and even one time in Morocco. From time to time, I hosted someone in one of my shared apartments in Cologne where I lived for 10 years. In Berlin, I live with 4 other people and am not able to host constantly, but I hope it will happen from time to time.

Interests

I'm a passionate cinephile, interested in film culture past and present, visiting festivals and writing texts on film. Apart from that, I like drinking and dancing, soccer, and making new interests.
