ABOUT ME
I've lived in and around Atlanta most my life. This city gets more amazing by the second.
I recently moved into an amazing affectionately dubbed 'Coop 2.0' (our chickens are actually now down the road at Coop 3.0).
We are a house of 4 (2 ladies, 2 fellas). We are a mix of physicians, farmers, photographers, architects, and supper club/ restaurant managers. We eat, drink, dance, and laugh often. We are in arguably the most beautiful and walkable neighborhood in Atlanta, Cabbagetown. There is never a dull moment and we know this city well.
PHILOSOPHY
Wag More, Bark Less.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed all over the world in China, Alaska, South East Asia, Indonesia, and every experience has been unique and special. I've hosted while living abroad in Uganda and a few times at my old Atlanta house, though it wasn't quite as large and hospitable as the Coop so we took a brief hiatus.
With our beautiful new digs, it's hard not to open it up and share it with you ATL surfers out there. And just as many CSers who host, We enjoy living vicariously through the adventures of our surfers.
Interests
I think what I enjoy most is traveling meagerly by the seat of my pants. Maybe even without pants. The skies the limit when it comes to minimalistic travel. Maybe there is a limit......I promise to be clothed. I wear a robe alot.
Academically, I study emergency medicine and work with several global health NGOs.
I get my kicks kayaking, cycling, and frisbee-ing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once upon a time... Two of my closest friends and I hitchhiked from from Jo'burg to Zanzibar.
At one point in Malawi, it took us 13 separate rides, (10 going in the right direction), 7 hours, and a canoe delivery to traverse approximately 100 miles.
It was the greatest day of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some basic first aid skils, discuss current events (all the insightful comments stolen from the latest Economist I've read), and share latest fav albums.
My roomates are experts in farming, sustainability, cooking, building stuff, and dancing.
