About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet interesting people from around the world that love to explore.

ABOUT ME

I'm really polite.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd really like to meet people hang out with in Granada (locals or travelers). Also, I'd love to find people in Barcelona and Galicia (A Coruna or Santiago) to show me those cities. I had a couch to share in Granada, but no longer. However I'd love to make a couch available in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Not much yet, I hosted a friend for a few days in Granada.

Interests

Hiking/trekking/walking/wandering/exploring, maps and geography, live music (indie rock, jazz, punk, flamenco), playing guitar and contrabass and banjo, playing music with other people, recording, cooking, local folklore, gardening, tea and teterias, strange cafes and bars, trees, kittens, mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Can, Television, Fugazi, Pavement, Charles Mingus, Sun Ra, Neko Case, Deerhoof, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Dirty Projectors, Sonic Youth, Moroccan and Turkish music, weirdo jazz, everything not on the radio, etc. etc. etc.

MOVIES: Ponyo (or anything else by Miyazaki), Twin Peaks, Home Alone, Pan's Labyrinth, anything weird.

BOOKS: I love to read, but don't really have favorite books. I just read anything that's recommended to me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every travel is amazing and a great chance to learn, though riding a broken bike down the side of a volcano in the rain is fun, too.

Teach, Learn, Share

If you're willing to withstand it, I enjoy talking for hours about random geographical ephemera and the greatness of Northern California.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Canada, Ecuador, Japan, Morocco, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Spain, United States
