ABOUT ME

I'm currently in the process of traveling around the world in the next several years. I have spent most of last several years traveling through 30 countries, mainly in Americas and parts of Asia. I'm now planning to head over to Europe, Africa and at some point return to Latin America and Asia again :-)

The other day a friend asked me what I was most looking forward to seeing and experiencing in my travels. I told her that I am looking forward to seeing and experiencing many different places that I have researched, BUT I'm most looking forward to meeting the people in the different places I will see...

I'm an easy going, "go with the flow" kind of guy that really enjoys meeting new poeple and trying new experiences. I love traveling and exploring new places.

Life is Amazing and I feel that I live a very charmed life!

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a go with the flow kind of guy...

Respect, Communication, Positivity and being open to new adventures are of utmost important to me.

Afew other points I've set for myself include:
1. Don't live life in fear (but be prepared as well)
2. Be in the present moment; feel what is around you in your environment (don't get too caught up in what has already happened, and don't let future plans get you too rapped up; plan, but be open to other possibilities around you as well)
3. Open yourself to what is around you..you are right where you need to be. realize things don´t always turn out the way we expect and that is ok, go with the flow...
4. Things are not "good" or "bad" they just are. You are on your path of life, be open to other points of view and possibilities....
5. If there is something that I really want or need I just need to focus in my mind and heart, with as much detail as I can and then release with positive intention into the world...speak it out loud, sing it, write it down, etc..
6. Don't forget to breathe!!
7. A smile can go along way :-)

I love entertaining people at home and showing them around Southern California...Just as I enjoy going to different places, meeting amazing people, and exploring cultures that are new to me...It is all fun!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been very fortunate to meet very kind and hospitable people in my travels. Several through couchsurfing and many more on the road...I hope to meet many more new friends and get to know some of the new places and cultures I explore...

Interests

As I said above, I love traveling and exploring new places and cultures.

Movies, theater/concerts, food, hiking, body surfing at the beach, meditation...

I also really enjoy hanging out at a nice central downtown restaurant/coffee shop, getting a nice glass of wine and people watching.

And most of all meeting new people!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

So far for my trip around the world I have spent the last several years traveling through Latin America...I can't put into words how much I loved Latin America!!! I got a chance to see 15 different countries including: 70 different cities in Mexico, many Aztec and Mayan sites throughout Mexico and Central America, Galapagos Islands, Inca sites like Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Easter Island, and the Amazon to name just a few... Every where I explored I so enjoyed the foods, cultures, and most importantly the people!!! How generous and hospitable everyone was....I was ready to move to several different spots...I can't wait to go back!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a huge fan of meditation and visualized meditation. I really enjoy teaching others about and how to mediate...I also do some basic energy work as well, which coincides with the meditation nicely. I also teach, from English and Spanish to general subject education to children. I also have several years experience (from restaurants to teaching classes) in working with organic, plant based (vegan), living (raw) foods. I really enjoy doing Yoga as well, but still getting it down :-)
