About Me
I am Claire, am 25 and live in Homécourt with 2 other friends and 3 quite dogs.
I used to sell books in a shop in Luxembourg. I studied in a german university and lived in Lyon and Paris for a while.
Right now I am engaged to a senegalese guy and I am planning to live somewhere between France and Senegal.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I actually hosted more than I've been hosted myself, I've met incredible human beings, unbereable people, and made new friendships throught CS.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Sometimes it happens that people (the newbies mostly) take CS as a free hostel. That makes me sad. especially when I see the electricity bill next... Or when they ask me to use my bed (true experience !).
Interests
Cooking, I never miss an occasion to cook some meat, macrame, that i learned in latin America like tones of people, I read a lot of books, mostly historical novels, cinema, even if I don't find the time to watch films, rock climbing even if I suck at it, used to make capoeira but it ruined my back.
I guess I also like to travel, but I'm not sure.

Music, Movies, and Books
Well as I sell books, I can talk hours and hours of authors I like, and really love discovering foreign author, translated in french or not.
I have to say I love watching scandinavian and british series and can spend a whole day watching without having the feeling I lost my time - and a part of my social life !
I make crochet, macramé, like DIY stuffs even if I need someone to show me te basics, because books can't talk and argue when you do something (very) wrong.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A wedding in Budapest. The street was empty, nobody else but me and a hundred bikers driving their motocycle in the area. The bride was the leader. It was just amazing
After one day working in a cacao field under 35°C in Brazil, the shadow of a giant vulture grazing the trees, with the sea as underground.
Teach, Learn, Share
I suck in spanish even though i was forced to use it in South America. So if we can exchange some words or teach to each other portuguese/german/french against some spasnish, i would be glad to spend an evening making a meltin pot.
