Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a former hippie who tells me his extraordinary journey. He bought a camper van with a friend and left Germany in the early 70s. He has crossed Europe, the Middle East to finally arrive in Goa in India, a paradise for hippies at the time. After spending a few years living on love and fresh air, he continued on to Australia where he opened a restaurant and settled. Tired of Australia which has become according to him "too touristy" and having "lost its tranquility", he moved early in 2012 in Ubud on the island of Bali.

Interests

I like to observe people, how they behave, discover new cultures, that's why I like to travel. I spend most of my time with my friends.

I'm very eclectic in terms of music and movie. As regards books, I really enjoy the detective books.

Skydiving in Abel Tasman National Park, New Zealand. One of the craziest things I've ever done!
