About Me

Hello there,

Back on CS for 2024 after Covid. Hit me up!

after traveling for almost two years I started studying forestry and environmental sciences in Freiburg, where I´m able to give back the hospitality I´ve encountered as a backpacker.
I would consider myself to be an easy going and fun guy to be around with. Love to discover new places or just hang around and have a chat. Also have a great passion for (UL-) long distance hiking. Did a lot of multi day hikes in Germany and visited Scotland so many times, I fell in love with it! Ask me about long distance hikes in the Black Forest. I hiked almost all of the official trails!
I'm respectful and welcoming to new things and people. I did alot of wwoofing (volunteering on a farm for accomodation and food) so I'm used to come to new homes. I love having a good laugh and a nice conversation about whatever comes to our minds. Enjoy listening to stories of life, travel or anything else and sharing mine with you. I'm open for new countries, cultures and people in general.
I love every kind of animals and children of any age. I don't smoke.
I don't know you yet... but nice to finally meet you :)

PHILOSOPHY:
"It'll work out; It always does!"
and
"Everybody is a mate until he's not."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and meet new people! Some people are sick of meeting others after some long term travel but I'm still interested in everyone. Every human has his own story and I want to hear it! I also hitchhiked 25.000+ km and liked every single person I met there.
I think CS can be a nice cultural exchange aswell. You can experience new nations and different ways of life.

I don't feel like "another stupid tourist" when I'm surfing; I'm more like a part of the society I'm in. THAT'S my understanding of learning about another culture/nation.
