About Me

I´m studying photography in Lahti College of Art, having my final year and then going to plan some volunteer working in different countries. Exploring = yesss!

I´m open for a new challenges with a little childish, curious touch in it, and I love to meet new people. I appreciate different cultures and I´m always curious to see "the grass roots level".
As a photographer I´m quite the same: chasing intuitively interesting things and persons with my eyes and trying to get in to the story, not just "record" it as an outsider fellow. It´s fun!

As a social person I´m easy-going and shining most of my times. Some people say I can´t be grumpy. Which is a lie. Every one does that sometimes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people is a best way to get to know yourself better. Learning is everything: It happens all the time if you give it a chance. When I travel, the stories of people comes first: They inspire me so much.

Couchsurfing is a great way to get closer to you guys around the world. It´s like a treat or medicine.

Interests

Music, especially when it comes to live-music, I´m swept off my feet.
Jamming with a good company. Give me any instrument and I´ll do my best!
Old bookshops, trains, mountains, spontaneous smile of a stranger.

Music, Movies, and Books

All-time favorites: Led Zeppelin, Kings of Convenience, Arctic Monkeys, Fleet Foxes. Though the older I get, the more explorer I am with music. I love melodies all around the world with different languages and feelings.

Reading books is something magical and I admire people who carry books with them. If you love books and have good ideas what should I read, please share the hints.

Inspiring people: You can meet them every day, if you walk eyes wide open.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Those moments are unique, when you forget your own duties,
habits, fears or cravings,
or even yourself, without even trying it.
I have had those feelings sometimes for example during a really mind-banging gig or when I hear a good song somewhere spontaneously, doesn´t matter is it live or not. Unique, and amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

One of my mottos is that I want to be present every day and enjoy the most of it. Moments and emotions that are passing by so fast are precious. I´ll try to remember to keep my senses always alert while doing even just daily things. Sometimes the most important thing is to stop, and feel what is happening around you - and in you!
