About Me

CURRENT MISSION

It changes too often. I think i'll just aim to be positive all the time.

ABOUT ME

Who am I? I really don't know. I don't think anyone does! I have been on the road Since December 2013 and it seems to change so often.
I am constantly learning new things. I am always meeting people who have something to offer be that big or small. I want to change the world and i think that it's the little guys like us that can make the biggest difference. I love people, i am empathetic and feel for those who haven't the opportunities i have. I am so grateful to be apart of this community, where i find many like minded people.
I am definitely an optimist. I think everything is possible! I can be stupid, but i smile all the time, which makes it easier to handle :)
I love life, it can be devastatingly hard at time but it's worth it, as we only have one (that we know of for sure).

I'm a hippy at heart! I love to read, to chill, to party. I can be lazy, energetic, poetic, and funny. Ok maybe not poetic.

Anyway, i think thats me... For now anyway.

PHILOSOPHY

"It is no measure of health to be well adjusted to a profoundly sick society"
Jiddu Krishnamurti

I think that normal is overated. I just want to be me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I host, I surf, I'm just glad someone thought of this. What a great way to meet people, to make lifelong friends, to discover the best a city has to offer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been a surfer and a host! I loved every minute of both and i cannot wait to surf some more in Europe :)

Interests

I love watching documentaries. I love reading. I love music. I love drinking (responsibly most times, irresponsibly on occasion).

Most of all i love food. It's the best... and my mission is to eat my way through Europe but i need your help CS buddies, to point me in the right direction of the best local places in your town!

I am a keen photographer and my travels are proving very valuable for my portfolio! I study journalism, which is much worse than everyone actually thinks. It's cut throat and a lot of the time it's abolute horse shit... So i'd like to write scripts for documentaries and continue with photojournalism for small alternative media publications.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Oliver Stone movies and doco's. He is my favorite director at the moment. Michael Moore is a hoot too. One of the best doco's which i recently watched is called Samsara, it is a beautiful documentary filmed in various parts of the world. Absolutely mesmerizing for anyone who loves to travel.
Books, although i read alot and love all sorts of books, im loud and proud about Harry Potter being one of my all time fav series. Iv read them as a child and can still read them today.

Music depends on my mood. I love all kinds of music, from blues and roots, to punk and even throw in a bit of trance if i'm on the right planet.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Kutna hora in the Czech Republic. They have this beautiful bone chapel that is decorated with thousands of human bones. It is something I can see clear as day even 2 years after visiting it.
Belgrade in winter, one of the most beautiful cities even after the 99 bombing. The Serbian name is Beograd, which translates to white city.
And a little closer to home, my boyfriend and I rented an apartment on the great ocean road for a night, the view was magical, it was almost like we were floating on the ocean from the bed. It's one of those places I want to tell everyone about, to share that beauty but at the same time I want to keep it to myself so that it will always be ours.

Teach, Learn, Share

Every single human being has something to learn and something to offer. Im open to all possibilities.

Countries I’ve Visited
