About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Live life! Sometimes that's moving constantly, learning moment by moment. Other times it's sitting in quiet reflection.

ABOUT ME

I've lived in the western states of the U.S. including Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Northern California, and Colorado. I've had a variety of odd-jobs including sustainable logging, ranch-handing, fencing, serving, bar tending, cooking, guiding pack-horse trips, working at a mine (surface), Wildland firefighting with the U.S. Forest Service, and as a backcountry wilderness ranger for the U.S. Park Service in Alaska. Currently I work extra hard in the summer so I can have abundant leisure time in the winter. I ski, ice climb, spend a lot of time in the woods, and try to "culture" myself when I can

PHILOSOPHY

Just keep swimming

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am traveling, so I suppose I participate by testing out couches

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Working on that! I've surfed plenty of couches, just not officially through couch-surfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

Among my favorite books is "Deep Survival" by Lawrence Gonzales. Check it out - if you're an adventure seeker, you won't be disappointed

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Camino de Santiago in Spain.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to cook! I have a real passion for flavor. Good food, good people, great conversation, and if we can get music on top of all that... Welp, can't ask for much more
