CURRENT MISSION

Hello there, I am getting messages to hang around Ljubljana ect, but actually I am living in Lisbon :). I can still give you the tips and hints reagrding Slovenia, but apparently many things changed since I left.

ABOUT ME

I never know what to write in this section, maybe references would help. I like to cook for my friends, if i have time and if they tolerate meat-less dishes (i'm trying to eat vegan most of the time, but sometimes it's difficult to say no to pastel de nata when I have a bad day), travel, hike, take photos, swim in cold water, spend my time with people who inspire me and i have to addmit that sometimes i have my lazy moments.. And then i appreciate staying somewhere alone with a book or movie..

I'm a master in procrastinating, but I don't like it, just saying.. that's why I rly like people who do/make/create/remake/produce things by themselves without making too much of waste..

I become really anxious if i have to stay for a long time at the same place.. Oh, one thing more: i don't like plans too much. Just feel better if i can decide at the moment.

morning&after rain mists, avocado, travelling by train, slackline, museums and galleries, street art, green&purple&violet, ocean, panorama from mountain tops, french movies, smell of the cofee, spontaneous moments and decisions, smell of shampoo after shower, red wine, illustrations, to write funny (not really useful) words or phrases in foreign languages in my travelling bookie, listening to people when they're explaining stories/history/past of their village/city/country (it's so much more interesting then reading articles or googling it), nice projects&initiatives, funny jokes (who doesn't?!)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Actually i stayed with my friends at really nice guys from Italy (Canzo) and Geneve and i got inspiration.. My friends talked about CS a lot and i'm happy to got in touch with it..
And i trully hope that one day i could open doors of my small cosy flat (imaginery for the moment) with great terrace and view (or just small chalet somewhere in mountains) to other couchsurfers..

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I never officially hosted CS volunteers (well, actually my friend did in the flat we used to live together, but I was on holidays, so not sure if it counts). I hosted in Ljubljana and now in Lisbon people I didn't know before, so I would say the circomstances were more or less the same. Friends of firends, other EVS volunteers ... But I hope I will be soon able to do it just to pay back for all kindness and good moments I got.

I just love the fact that I made some friends by using CS and I always talk about it with enthousiasm to those who don't know it yet.

Memorized good moments , forgot the others.. But due to passed experiences I would like to specify that I don't consider CS as a dating page. I believe there are many other channels to meet people for this purpose.

..change very quickly and spontaneousley cuz i can get amazed quite easily and quickly and forget some new hobby/interest in one week.. but i'd say that one of last amazements's hiking..it lasts for 6 years allready..

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Don't like action+gangster+SF movies..neither those where nothing's going on.. I have problems with memorising the titles, in general I prefer movies which are not typical Holywood production.. exploring the european movies and can laugh rly hard watching french commedies..

Music: direction: ska, reggae, punk, roots'n'roll, all kinds of ethno, swing, jazz.. The songs which suit to my mood.. I really like the sound of didzeridoo and music from the street.. My ears somehow can't appreciate electronic sounds.. tried to force them, but it didn't work out.. I like to explore the local/folk music, even tough I don't understand a word of the lyrics..

Books: interesting ones..

Concerning all three categories, I'm always opened for some nice suggestions and tips! I always note some titles in the notebook/phone.
