About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Living, traveling & meeting interesting people
ABOUT ME
Tracy - I"m from the great town of Sheyenne, North Dakota in the USA (population a whopping 300 people)!
Jason - Born and raised in North Carolina, USA. I grew up on a farm just outside of Winston-Salem in a small town called Dobson.
After meeting during high school we dated until we both moved to Denver, Colorado where we got engaged and later married. We have been married for 10 years and together for 17. We both worked at "real" jobs for 8 years, saving enough money to take the trip of a lifetime, which lasted 2 years. Currently Tracy is a partner in a translation firm specializing in market research and Jason is an IT Manager. We both enjoy skiing, diving, talking politics and current affairs (when the mood strikes!), and for Jason keeping up with his home state sports teams; namely the Carolina Tarheels! We both love learning about all the different cultures and philosophies.
PHILOSOPHY
Every day spent traveling is better than a day spent at
work :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Collectively we have been to over 50 countries and have seen most of the United States. We enjoy sharing stories and travel tips as well as learning about new cultures, even within our own nation. We see CouchSurfing as another avenue to learn more about the culture and the people and in return, we share our life's experiences.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have done a few meetups through CouchSurfing and stayed with fellow CouchSurfers in China & the US. Whether it's meeting for coffee or staying a couple of days and exploring the city, we are always up for a new and exciting adventure! We have hosted before as well and hope to do so again in the future.
