My name is Tjeerd and I just graduated from my bachelor study Product Design.
Now that I finished my study, I am going to travel in the United States of America for 5 weeks, hoping to meet new people, see beautiful landscapes and learn more about American history.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

During a trip to Berlin I met a woman who told me about Couchsurfing.com
I really like the concept of meeting new people in different countries, staying over at peoples houses and learn from them about the area or history.

Since I am new with the site, I don't have experience with staying at people yet (or having them over). But I am a social person who likes new experiences, so I'd thought this would suit me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have been on safari in Kenya!
Though I was only 15 at that time, 10 years later I still remember it as a unique experience.
