About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My goal in life is to do whatever brings me bliss. I truly believe that those who do what they love, never have a day of work in their life. Therefore, I don't want to ever have to think, "Oh no. I have to go to work today."

ABOUT ME

I sent the following in my inquiry for a place in Amsterdam. I think it is a pretty good summation of who I am. Therefore, I copy and pasted it in this little box. Enjoy!

My name is Timothy. You can just call me Tim. My interests include theatre, film, television and connecting with my inner self. I am always discovering new ways to live a more fulfilling, yet simple life.

I'm also an avid yogi. I just received my certification to teach vinyasa yoga this past summer in NYC. Upon completing my certification, I was immediately staffed by Yoga to the People where I taught 35 classes to over 1,000 New Yorkers. In some respects, I didn't even feel like a college student last semester because I was always teaching.

In conclusion, I would say I'm an old soul. I enjoy going to clubs, however, nothing beats spending some quality time with friends--be it at a bar, cafe or in someone's apartment with wine, dessert and a good film or jam session

PHILOSOPHY

Simplifying my life.
Enjoying everything life has to offer.
Making myself a stronger, competent human being.

Here's my mantra I created for the 2012.

T ransmute my emotions
H one my talents
R adiate joy, candor
I nspire my best
V erify my intentions
E xercise patience always

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am currently unable to host. I am willing to show people around NYC!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I became an active member of the CS community when I was studying abroad in Paris. I surfed in Stockholm, Sweden (two nights), Brussels, Belgium (one night), Utrecht (one night) and Firenze, Italy (two nights). Everything went smoothly for the most part and I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with all of my hosts.

Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to host anybody because I moved back home after graduating from college. However, now that I will soon be moving into my own place in LA, I am so looking forward to hosting surfers!

Interests

Acting.

Exploring spirituality (I currently identify myself as being an omnitheist)
