About Me

CURRENT MISSIONS

Enjoying/ caring for family and friends - always #1 priority

Traveling as much as possible!

Building two businesses: One is called Medco Blue where I buy/sell/rent medical imaging equipment. The other is called Toledo Lamp Co. - a little lamp shop where my mother and I build rustic/industrial lamps out of wood and pipes.

ABOUT ME

I'm a kind and respectful guy who appreciates people, animals, and different cultures and opinions. My life revolves around my family, close friends, work, and traveling to experience anything eye-opening. In the summer, I play tennis, soccer, and watersports, and in the winter, snowboarding and ice hockey. I enjoy cooking, watching films, reading comics, fictional novels, and "How To" guides, along with visting the pub for a microbew or whiskey. I enjoy the presence of those who have and use a mind of their own socially and in their life's work. I have no addictions, and I'm always in control if I'm drinking.

PHILOSOPHY

It's so easy to be kind and respectful. I gravitate toward good, wholesome folk. Big egos are real mood killers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've mainly hosted people in the couchsurfing community. While my hometown of Toledo isn't tiny, it also isn't a giant melting pot booming with folk of different ethnic backgrounds and culture. When my travels run dry, I host others to continue meeting new and interesting people who have great stories and genuine passions. It also feels good to help others in need.

If you give me the privilege of hosting me, I promise you I will respect you, your furry friends, your crazy neighbors, and everyone's belongings. I am a very clean person and make a conscious effort to leave your place cleaner than I found it. I'm very mindful of security and will always lock the door(s) when I come and go. If you want to hang out and create a new experience, I'm up for pretty much anything.

Interests

Kind, interesting people. Family. Striking up an interesting convo with strangers. Comics. DIY projects. Cooking meals of foreign lands. Visiting foreign lands. Exploring unfamiliar land, especially if it's restricted. Flying single-prop planes. Playing sports of any kind.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music of all kinds, and I most certainly enjoy cutting a rug. I'm always exploring new artists and I love to share my findings. Dance parties! :D

Comics! I'm more into graphic novel volumes, but it's basically the same, just without the advertisements. My favorites include Saga, Postal, Sandman, Y The Last Man, Preacher, Descender, to name a few

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Earned my pilot's license to fly single engine planes. It's expired now :( but I fully intend to get back in the air in the next year. When this happens, you should be my copilot and we'll fly around!

Teach, Learn, Share

Much of my knowledge revolves around business, specifically digital marketing and entrepreneurship.
