ABOUT ME

Hello! my name is Lwantale I am originally from the Bay Area California however my family is from Uganda. I have studied, lived, and worked in 4 regions of the world and see my self as a Travelholic!
I am very passionate in volunteer work throughout my travels especially in Uganda, where I have been able to set up my own NGO geared in providing survivors of Female Genital Mutilation with psychosocial therapy and a chance to have reconstruction surgery!
As a person I am quite laid back but passionate about learning foreign ideas and values that can shine a mesmerizing perspective on this silly game called life.
I enjoy conversing with new people, sharing travel stories and basically getting to know the 'genuine' way of life of whatever community I find my self in.
My favourite quote is: "I know that I know nothing" and it is through this quote that encourages me to continue seeking the unknown and take pleasure in the transience of life!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I traveled to Mongolia by train from Beijing and rode past the great wall from a distance, it was mesmerizing.

When I traveled to Rwanda and was able to swim from island to island on Lake Kivu. In my opinion one of the most beautiful places I have seen on earth.

Driving a scooter through villages in Guilin, China, and Yangshuo, China, and being surrounded by hills that could only be describe as being otherworldly. Absolutely breath taking.

And lastly, one of the most awestruck events in my life, was when my brother was born.
