About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning to Love in our 21st century world.

Above all I believe in Simplicity. We are far too advanced for our simple needs as a society.
Going back to the Earth is the only way to Heal all which brings suffering.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have been a host and a surfer.

I can offer the sofa which is in my kitchen. Many friends and family have slept there and have had a good nights rest :) I am often busy so I can not always host--but I am always willing to meet up for coffee and or help in any way that I can!! Just contact me!

One way that I did participate in the past with Couchsurfing was by giving Singing for Beginners classes.
It all started with a lovely group of CSers in Bonn, Germany who were looking for a Vocal Coach! ;)
Giving these classes has been such an enriching experience for me. I can't describe how amazing it is to see how quickly a good singing trick can change/ bring out someone's real voice out :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have to say that Couchsurfing has changed my life. From my unforgettable travels on European couches in 2009 to the discovery of a fountain full of friends in the CS community in Bonn/Cologne... Couchsurfing has quickly become an integral part of my life!

It really is an amazing project/social movement... I say this because by doing what we are doing...we really are changing the world...coming together and making the world a smaller and happier place :)
I feel so fortunate to be a part of it!

Interests

I am very interested in Eastern Philosophy-I like yoga and meditation
I love learning about myself...and about others... and truly connecting with Mamma Earth.
I love to spend time in Nature... usually alone..but of course with others as well.

I love all types of MUSIC!! Hence why I decided to study it...

Dancing is necessary for my well being...

One of my favorite activities it to go Jog into the Forest and then stop and meditate once all the mental junk is out of my system! I believe in Dynamic Meditation very much so!!

I love to read a good book or watch an inspiring or funny movie...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most recent amazing thing I did was live in Sondrio, Italy! I taught English there to a group of 13 students! Sondrio is absolutely breathtaking... with the alps overlooking you everywhere you go. The host family I lived with was to die for...so warm, friendly and welcoming. To say the least the day I left the kids starting crying at the rail station and I could not help the tears to run down my face as well.
This was an experience I will never forget.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love meeting people who are following their dreams. Who are proactive about the things they feel passion for. I find that many of these people's goals are to help the world in whatever way they can.
I love exchanging life lessons and experiences with all sorts of people...be those who have never even left their own country...or those who can't think of a country they haven't visited...

I feel we have something to learn from every single person we come in contact with. We meet no one by coincidence.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Dominican Republic, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Turkey, Virgin Islands, British
