ABOUT ME

Well i love traveling obviously. I have backpacked for just under 2 years visiting 40 countries across Asia, India/Nepal, Middle East and Europe. Defiantly one of the best things about traveling is meeting different people along the way, making new friendships and learning about their culture through them. I have couch surfed just not through this website via friends and new people i have met along the way in my travels. I did some couch surfing with my friend in Greece, she organized it and it was one of the best experiences i had. Spyros in Greece took us out for Greek dancing, food, and introduced us to all his couch surfing friends. Would love to repeat this experience again thus why i have created my own profile now!

PHILOSOPHY

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Great. Why wouldn't you stay with locals who know their city better than anyone, can offer great advice and best of all offer a new friendship.

Stayed with Spyros Hrys in Greece and his dad. Spyros on my first night took us to a concert at the beach in Athens to meet the Couch surfing community. It was great staying with him and his dad, in the suburbs of Athens with the locals. Spyros also took us to the best local restaurants and bars and gave heaps of advice on Greece. He also helped me experience some of that amazing Greek cuisine.

I also stayed with Ella in Greece. Ella worked at the taditional Dutch village and made the famous Pancakes. It was also world cup time when i visited so there was lots of drinking, smoking and running a muck.
