Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To Re-Skill myself for post fossil fuel living.
ABOUT ME
I'm all about networking and building community. I love the natural world that we all belong to. Being in the wilderness brings me great joy. I am absolutely fascinated with honeybees. My goal is to save up for a piece of land and make my living off of it.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to stay as positive as possible by putting it all into perspective. We are wealthier than any humans living before us on this earth and yet material wealth does not equal happiness, community and shared experiences do. The American culture of work, consume, work, consume is very taxing on the planet and on our mental and physical selves. I try and live outside this culture. We can change the world by making well thought out decisions every moment of our lives.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
This community is opening its arms and homes to folks and that's something I can get behind. My hosting experiences greatly outnumber my surfing experiences and they have all been amazing.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My favorite couchsurfing experiences have been meeting folks who are involved in the community while out traveling myself. I have now surfed and hosted on several occasions.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am pretty handy in the home and garden department. I know my way around the kitchen and love sharing home cooked meals. Learning about new things is always a good time. I've recently learned how to graft fruit trees and am a bike mechanic as well. I'm in my fourth year of keeping bees and they have taught me sooooo much.
