ABOUT ME

I have been traveling in Europe since January 2009, and I'm loving it! I love learning a new language or about the hidden treasures of a culture. I'm a Linguistics major and can speak decent Castellano. I'm easy going, fun, personable, extroverted, confident, etc. Anything else you want to know.. ask! =)

PHILOSOPHY

Accept that the reality of something is the... real deal. The thought or idea of something shouldn't overpower your hope because you will end up disappointed. Life is for living, and what doesn't kill, only makes you stronger. Expect the worst; hope for the best.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I want to give this a try myself as a surfer for a bit, and I plan to host when I return to the USA. I love to show people the more interesting parts of San Francisco!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One damn week in Prague. It is such a magical city. I learned to make myself open to others despite language barriers, and it opened a whole new world to me. My life has never been the same since.

Teach, Learn, Share

I will add to this after a few couchsurfing experiences, but I hope to learn to break down even more personal and social barriers I have developed over the years... I've come a long way, but I sure have a long way to go. I love people and learning their stories.
