Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Every formulation I come up with sounds quite lame. So let's just say I'm here to love and learn.
ABOUT ME
I'm a vegan queer feminist. Sounds rough but I'm cool!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm in this for the opportunity to meet people from all over the world with whom to share experiences, find common grounds, appreciate diversity. I also like to share little secrets from my city and, if I have the time, to show you around. I welcome curious, interested people, able to listen and share, good spirited and kindhearted. Women travelling alone, queer people, non-white people, people with funcional diversity and allies are very welcome.
People sharing their homes and their time with strangers, expecting no material compensation, just for the pleasure of it, is a contribution to peace among the peoples: it increases intercultural knowledge, understanding and appreciation. That's why I'm here!
Interests
Fantasy novels, Wikipedia-surfing (no criteria at all), maps, red wine, big books, sweaty dancing, theatre, I love driving, gender topics, politics, social inclusion, talking and listening, fireplaces, Nature and the Sea.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like different kinds of music, from self-harm sad to crazy hip-shaking. My heart goes specially to female singer-songwriters like PJ Harvey, Cat Power, Björk, Joanna Newsom, M.I.A. and Chelsea Wolfe. I also adore fado, a Portuguese music genre born two centuries ago. I might even sing to you, after some wine.
I love literature as well, it has saved me in my teenage years. I would highlight José Saramago as my favourite writer and Sophia de Mello Breyner as my favourite poet.
As to movies, my favourite one has been "Magnolia" since I was 15. I also like South American cinema and musicals.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One month in India and no diarrhea.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn about Astronomy, the EU, the history of Middle East, playing an instrument and Middle Age.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm really here for the possibility of human exchange with engaged and sensible humans. It has worked really well all these years, generally speaking. Still, Lisbon is getting quite hype and I feel the need to assure that whomever is going to ask for a couch actually identifies with me and feels that we will be able to share thoughts and laughs in an enjoyable way. I need, at least, to know you've read my entire profile. So please, start your request with your favourite word in your language and explain why it is your favourite word. I will reject the request otherwise.
Maybe you can come to one of my shows too ;)
