ABOUT ME

I live in New York and work at a Magazine. I'm a photographer and love all things creative. I took a year and backpacked through Europe and stayed with Couch Surfers almost the entire time. I love meeting other travelers and getting to know new people. I love showing people around New York because there is honestly an infinite number of things to do here.

I spent a year traveling and using CS and it was amazing. I try to host people when I can, which unfortunately is not very often.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been lucky to have so many amazing hosts. I still keep in touch with several of them. It has made me so excited to host people in NY once I'm done traveling.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I climbed 2700 ft up a mountain in Zion national park and it was breath taking.

Stayed with Buddhist monks in a temple.

I have gotten stuck 8000 ft above sea level in a national forest in a blizzard and had to sleep in my car.

I have danced through the night at a jazz club in New Orleans.

I have bungee jumped off a 250 ft bridge on the outskirts of LA

I have been to the most northern point of Norway (it looks like another planet)

I spent two nights in the Sahara

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach: I can teach you how a camera works or how to deep fry anything

Learn: Teach me a new language, how to cook something new, or a new drinking game, or any random skill

Share: Food, music, alcohol, photos, stories, etc.

I'd be happy to cook you an "American Meal" or swap music and stories, and share my home with you if you ever come visit New York.
