My wife, dog Sophia (Weimaraner), and I are looking to explore the great city of Portland, since we moved here in late February 2013.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed on around 10 couches from this site, and many more otherwise. My friend and bandmate exposed me to the community, and I had to create a profile and start hosting!

I have met some of the most wonderful people ever couch surfing! I wouldn't trade my experiences for anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Successfully completed a 4-week tour with my band, The Greatest of These, couch surfing for every date except 2!

I play guitar and write songs. I'm eternally interested in teaching and learning about these things. I also love to meet people with lifestyles unlike mine. I love to see what makes people tick, and tell people about what makes me tick.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Hopefully a good meal, but definitely enthusiasm for exploring Portland. We are newcomers ourselves, so we're still loving where we live!
