Overview
About Me
I'm a French student who's learning computer science in an engineering school. I was this last semester in an exchange in Sydney. I love spending time in the nature, climbing, hiking or skiing during winter. I also like hanging out with friends, for a few drinks or a long night. I often go to concerts and listen to a lot of music of different types (techno, reggae, hip-hop, carribean/latin music...) and I like resting at cinema, watching an independent movie. I also love cooking and would love to prepare a great meal with you !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to discover another way to travel. I want to meet people and discover their country from within. I also want to host people in order to meet people from different culture and in order to improve my english. I'm now visiting New Zealand from end of November for a month, as my study semester in Sydny has just finished ! I am going to sail as a crew for several weeks through bays and islands in the northern island. As the arrival data of my boat may be uncertain, I may look for some couchsurfers to help me making the most of my time on the land.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really listen to music all day long. I like many different types, from Jack Johnson to Manu Chao, Guts, Hilight Tribe of Buena Vista Social Club. I listen to techno, trip-hop, reggae, dub, hip-hop, acoustic, tribal, Caribbean music, Latin music, and so on...
I made up with reading several years ago. I have mainly read biography from adventurers and famous sportsman who inspire me but I am now looking for the book that allows me to evade and dream. My favourite book is Martin Eden from Jack Londong, which I read during my trip in Norway and I just had the pleasure to read again on the Australian East Coast highay !
I'm also found of independent cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last year, I have spent 6 months in Nepal as part of a project called 400 lieues sur la Terre. I have prepared this project with 3 friends during a full year and a half. The first 3 months were dedicated to the crossing of the country by foot, trekking. For me, the experience hasn't turned as expected so I dropped from it but it is anyway a great life lesson. During 3 following months, we were volunteering in a school in the Katmandu suburbs, whre I have brought my computer skills to the school. I would love to tell you the story of this awesome adventure, even if there were up and down (in both the figurative way and not ;) ).
