About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I used to live in Yakima and recently moved to Woodinville. I'm getting an area prepped to host again.
*I'm discovering Couch Surfing etiquette as I go; if I sent you a friend request, I thought it was to build a local network of couch surfers. My apologies.
ABOUT ME
Single gay dad: we live in Woodinville, WA (19 miles northeast of Seattle), with my kids. I love hiking and wine trails, floating the river, breweries, and being involved in my community.
I work in communications for a Washington’s largest utilities company, Puget Sound Energy.
PHILOSOPHY
Our motto is, "Be nice to you. Be nice to others. Live Happy". We embody this phrase in our family.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't couchsurfed myself, but my bestfriends have and do. I felt I would host in their honor. I've only hosted two people and they were wonderful!
Interests
Weight training, I'm an avid distance runner, love music, movies, art shows, cultural events, movies at the park, trailing, hiking, swimming, and I love food... oh, and WINE of course!

Music, Movies, and Books
We are family that reads a lot and the genres vary from non-fiction, to fiction, historical, fantasy, and of course, kids books. The kids watch most of the movies. We love music of all kinds. Our spotify accounts consist of k-pop, classical, classic rock, jazz, R&B, regional Mexican, bachata, salsa, flamenco, samba... you name it, we listen to it (well, not heavy metal).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The process of life; becoming a parent, but continuing to be an individual with professional and life goals. We also travel quite a bit.
Teach, Learn, Share
I feel I bring cultural knowledge and willingness to learn. If you want to experience Mexican Culture in America, visit us. I also want our children to be global citizens, so I empower them to be great individuals that think of those in need. I am helping them be Tri-lingual. My eldest is working on her fourth language, Japanese (speaks English, Spanish, and Korean). My second will begin Japanese soon, and my third hasn't chosen his third language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A comfortable home.
