I consider myself a scientist and a teacher. I am currently in graduate school studying neuroscience and medicine, and in my free time I enjoy gardening and performing folk tunes at open mics.

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

My girlfriend has been inviting couch surfers to our home in Buffalo. I've been really enjoying the company of friendly strangers and travelers, and I wanted to get back into the spirit of being a global citizen.

Interesses

I play viola in community orchestras and sing at open mics as often as possible. Music has always been important to me. I also have been trying to learn more about vegetable gardening. Some vegetables are harder to grow than others.

A few of my favorite fiction books are God Bless You Mr. Rosewater, by Kurt Vonnegut and The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald.
Oliver Sacks wrote books about neuroscience which inspired me to take interest in the field.
