ABOUT ME

I'm pretty dedicated to whatever I do. I am open to whatever happens and like to chase after new experiences. Same as most people on here really. I'm in that equal blend of creative and technical and enjoy creating things that use technology to interact in our daily lives. (like see-saw's, they're awesome)

PHILOSOPHY

Put heaps of effort into stuff, but don't take it too seriously.
Also - if you are going to choose to stay home rather than engage in some absurd, manic act. Then think what you will remember in 10 years time, and which moments will disappear.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At the moment purely as a couch surfer. I will update this more later but I only found out about this recently and am desperate for a couch =P
But I will also be offering my couch in Newtown on my return.
SUCH A GOOD PROGRAM!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've stayed on many couches in my life - but never through a website. Usually at friends houses.
Our downstairs area has always been a place for people to sleep though. Never through a website, but we have often had people crashing there for up to 7 months!

Interests

I love performing, programming, creating real-life video games, playing games with friends, psychology, learning German.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Seeing videos of a very old performance called Desert Rain by Blast Theory where they projected a 3d environment onto falling rain - and then a performer suddenly immerged from the rain and dragged other audience members in. Awesome!

Meeting a stranger in an abandoned house and pretending the floor was lava and using detritus and old mattresses to climb to the top story. (and we were both old enough for that not be ok anymore =P)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach about computers, can teach about interactive art, can teach performance skills and acting and physical theatre.
I can help you free-write and work through creative blocks. And I can teach you random things about Psychology

As for learning - I want to learn about German. I LOVE learning German. And I want to know more!

I also want to be more acrobatic!
