About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Working until I can get back to my true passion, traveling...
ABOUT ME
I have started using couchsurfing locally as a way to network and meet more people. Its proven to be a great experience, and I already can't wait for the next event.
I love traveling, its a big part of who I am. The desire never seems to leave, and I am always thinking about my next trip.
PHILOSOPHY
ever changing. I am not set in any particular way. Someday, I just want to settle down and have a steady job and routine. Most days, I just want to travel the world. I like to experience new, and old things... try new foods, see new bands, talk to new people.... I have a lot of things I love, and a lot of love in my heart....

Lately I have been listening to Amadou and Miriam, Seu Jorge, KT Tunstall, Kaki King, Robert Randolph, Toubab Krewe, Manu Chao, Angelique Kidjo, North Mississippi Allstars, Mike Doughty, Matt Costa, Old Crow Medicine Show, Ray Lamontagne, Michael Franti, Ziggy, Stephen and Damien Marley anytime!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Life is amazing... I think we all do amazing things everyday. I'm happy to have finished school (twice), I like to spend my time helping others, I've hiked many miles, swam in many waters, communicated in various language, I've eaten lots of good foods, some not so good. I've seen some amazing beauty and viewed the good and bad through these eyes...
I am proud to have traveled, and I love to dream about future travels, followed by formulating a plan, buying a plane ticket, and packing. I love arriving in a new place, and experiencing sensory overload. I also like having the satisfaction of doing what I told my friend and family I was going to do, even after getting a few lectures and some funny looks....
Teach, Learn, Share
"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face... you must do the thing you think you cannot do". - Eleanor Roosevelt, You Learn by Living"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so other people won't feel insecure around you. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we un-consciously give other people permission to do the same. As we feel liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others."--Nelson Mandela, 1994 Inaugural Speech, written by Marianne Williamson
