ABOUT ME

I grew up in Fresno,Ca. Been on the go since i graduated,traveling and working. Having a blast doing it. I love being outside and around good people. Hiking, biking, yaking, surfing, snowboarding, driving, jumping off things.. i love getting my adrenalin going anyway i can. The only way to figure out if you like something or not is by trying it. So i will pretty much try anything once. Always open to new views and ideas, even though i like the ones of my own.
I want to travel throughout my life. there are to many differences in the world to not experience them. So ultimately, i live to be happy. done so by new experience with old friends and new alike. just want to enjoy life and what it has to offer. and i like good beer and good food..

PHILOSOPHY

i would rather regret something i have done, than something i havent. i know its not original. but its what i live by. Also, dont think that its necessary to conform to the traditional structure of life that society says is 'right'. I believe a bit in destiny.. think we all have a purpose and path through life. So i'm not to concerned with it.. i know in the end i'll be fine. just live it up and be happy. whatever that is to you.. as long as its true.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have known of CS for some time.. but havent signed up until now.. although my couch has been open and offered to many people met in passing during my travels.. i plan to spread the word along the way. as well as have an open home where-ever it may be in the future.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

became a member while living in new zealand. have been ever since. meeting people for drinks and hikes. offering my house and advise when available. have met some very interesting people, and love taking bits from each person i meet.

Interests

anything outdoors..cant usually sit still for to long. surfing is the newest passion. its hard though, i suck. Love meeting new people and having unique conversations. photo. movies. music.art. using my hands. traveling. a good book. movie quotes. pranks, jokes and sarcasm. french toast and muffins.

Books.. just got into reading really.. hated it throughout school.. but make you think books.. things that put a spin on life. the alchemist, Kon tiki, celestine prophecies, ishmale, around the world in 80 days, strange new world.

Teach, Learn, Share

lots of what i have already mentioned. People all stand to learn much from eachother. getting into conversations about travel, world, universe, jobs whatever. You never know when that next person is going to come along and give you a good idea which will change your life.. ex: i ran into a friend from high school one day. She was a trainer and going to be a physical therapist. So i asked how it was all coming along. Thats when she told me of the Commercial Recreation degree. Never heard of it and couldnt believe it was and actual degree. Got into it fallowing that semester and met some many people with similar great ideas and knowledge.
