ABOUT ME

I love to travel. It has always been a dream to get a job that requires me to travel. For now, I am quite happy to teach. The holidays allows me to do as much travelling as my wallet allows. I have many good friends whom I share quality time with. But I also enjoy my quiet moments. I paint for fun and read books all the time. I am a vegequarian- I don't eat mammals,birds and insects; just heeeeps of veges and fish on occasions.
If you would like to have a further insight to what I am like, write to me with your fb profile, and I will add you. Currently, I have to hide from my pupils who have fb a/c at such a young age.

PHILOSOPHY

I live life to the fullest and it does not necessarily have to be on the edge. I believe in the importance of appreciating the gift of 'today' so I try to be thankful for what has been given to me- good or bad.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love getting people together and organizing events. I have had 4 big meet-ups at my apartment and each time about 30 people would turn up. I love to cook and learn from others too so I have had many small dinner parties as well. It is such a pleasure to see people having fun. CS community in Singapore is really active. I have had a lot of fun joining events others have organized. Abroad, I join meetings too and if there isn't one, I would post for a meeting. Excellent, excellent project to get to know people. 3 cheers for couchsurfing!

At this very moment, I am very interested in sharpening my culinary skills. Not very good yet but it is definitely very fun! I am also learning french so it would be great if we could talk in that language which I find really difficult to pick.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Gone to the Himalayas to trek for about 12 days. Didn't know I could do it but I did.

Teach, Learn, Share

I showed Matthew how to paint his first masterpiece. I'm not a professional artist but I can show you how to paint with oil/ acrylic.
I want to learn how to cook dishes from all around the world. It'll be so wonderful if you could teach me how to. :-)
