and as all there is to experience is the knowing of it, 'I,' the essence of the mind or pure consciousness, is all that is ever truly known. Just as,
relatively speaking, the sun’s light renders the world visible, so “I” renders
experience knowable. It’s not a physical light but a knowing light, a
knowing presence that illuminates, knows, or is aware of all experience. It
renders all experience knowable but is not itself an experience. It is the
essential ingredient in all experience but cannot itself be found as an object
of experience." (r.s. page 32-33, 2019)
